Windows Vista RC1 RELEASE!!!

I have had the experience to using Windows Vista BETA 2 CPP for sometime now!!! I regret the performance of this version and the age of my horrible computer. With these specs running Vista is painful: 40GB harddrive, Integrated Intel 845GL graphics with 64MB(Shared) of memory, 256MB of system RAM,CDRW drive, DVD-DL Drive, and lets not forget no fire wire ports either. I would appreciate if anyone who can donate to my paypal please as my goal is to get a new laptop so I can run Vista with the Aero Experience. I fell in love Windows Vista the moment I saw the pictures. The painful experiences hopefully will get better in the newest Vista which is RC1. But unless I get a new computer soon I will only be able to relay my experiences with the equipment I have.

Windows Vista BETA 2 CPP

Sorry I have not been on so long!!! First of all if you are not aware of that Windows Vista Beta 2 CPP was released to the public. Microsoft is removing the download link for anyone who has a Vista license key today. Orders are officially over and when RC1 comes those who already have the DVD kit or the download version will receive more information to obtain it as soon as it becomes available. My experience with installing this Beta was horrifying. My computer is 3 years old and not cutting it. If anyone would be kind enough to send me a donation to my PayPal or contact me by e-mail and i will tell you on where to send the payment if you do not have PayPal. I may have a job but I get less than a $100 dollars a week. As always thanks for reading and sorry about the delay. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows Monaco

It is a pleasure for me to bring up the new rival to GarageBand. So many of people have bought a Mac just for the great iLife suite. GarageBand is one of the most versatile programs out there. Windows Monaco might even become a Windows Vista exclusive application. Way to go Microsoft.

Windows On MacOSX

Whoa!! Yepee!!!!! We now have seen Apple who always used to be so properity come up with the idea to support Microsoft's Windows XP and Vista. It is so exciting to finally do this that I might actually go and buy a MacBook Pro. No longer do we have to worry about the issues of software compatibility. I feel that this was the best move that Microsoft and Apple have done so far.

Oragami Project Idea by Microsoft

If you haven't already seen what the Origami Project is I reccommend vistin the Origam Project site. This is a new breed of computers that probably will become very popular within a year. These are actually full working computers that are similar to a tablet pc and a pda. I am quite fascinated on how Microsoft is creating this and i look forward to seeing more of this soon.

This is taken directly from Wikipedia Requirements for Vista Updated

Graphics hardware requirements

Vista's graphics requirements are defined in relation to the different desktop experiences.
Aero Glass
Aero Glass is built on the new Desktop Compositing Engine, adding support for 3D graphics, translucency, animation and other visual effects.
Intended for mainstream and high-end graphics cards.
64 MB of graphics memory recommended for 1024x768, 128 MB for 1600x1200+.
At least 32 bits per pixel.
3D hardware acceleration with capabilities equal to DirectX 9.0c.
A memory bandwidth of 2 GB/s, and as much 8 GB/s can be supported.
Capable of drawing ~1.5 M triangles / second, one window being ~150 triangles.
A graphics card that uses AGP 8X or PCI Express x16 bus.
Windows Vista Display Driver Model (WVDDM) Drivers.
It is likely that such a configuration will be an average configuration by Vista's release in 2006. During Vista's early alpha testing stages, the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and the nVidia GeForce FX 5900 were the only cards compatible with Aero Glass. Since then, support has been extended to most DirectX 9 Graphics cards. At this point, the nVidia FX family and up, and ATI Radeon 9500 and up are supported.
It is possible to disable the Glass translucency effects to improve performance with slower graphics cards.
Aero Glass will not be available in the Starter and Home Basic editions of Vista.
Windows Classic

Windows Vista December CTP 5270 in "Windows Classic" mode
The most basic user interface offered by Vista, which is very similar to the appearance of Windows 2000, and Windows XP with its "Luna" visual style deactivated.
Does not use the new Desktop Compositing Engine; Flip 3D, live window previews, and tearing-free window dragging are therefore not supported.
Requires Windows XP Display Driver Model (XPDM) or WVDDM drivers.
Graphics card requirements are the same as Windows 2000.
An option for corporate deployments and upgrades.
As of build 5270, the Luna visual style does not appear to be present in Windows Vista.

Halo 2 to be released to Vista!!!

I just found out today that Windows Vista is going to be getting Halo 2 by Bungie Software a Microsoft owned gaming company. Finally users can use there PC's with Halo 2 when it is released. I am looking forward to seeing how well this game works with vista. I mean the game sales aren't really going to be as big as this game is two years old. Halo 3 is going to be out for the Xbox 360 soon.

Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Leaked

I just recently saw news that IE7 Beta has been leaked. I have to admit I found a copy and startesd using it and found it to be truly phenomenal. The tabbed browsing feature and the new look of Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 is excellent. Finally I might just be able to get rid of Firefox for good. I like how it has an RSS feed built in. I haven't gotten a chance to try the anti-phishing blocker but will hopefully soon. The great thing about this is the ability to put pop-ups into a new box. Internet Explorer has a beautiful installation screen. Way to go PEOPLE at Microsoft!!!!! You guys are making a bigger fan of me each day that I see and have the ability to install software that may still be in beta but hey i think its worth it. Now if I could get a copy of Windows Vista I would be a whole lot happier. Talk to you all later!!!!

Check this out people!! (Channel 9 MSDN)

This site is totally awsome http://channel9.msdn.com/. The forums there are actually well designed and function wonderfully. This is the perfect spot to check out some pretty cool videos on Windows Vista!! Just thought you people would like to know. I also heard some of Robert Fripps stuff in the video and it sounded great. I am so excited to see what this experience will be like. I constantly think to my self how long till I shall have my chance to work with the OS. I can only give my impressions of it based on what other people have talked about or even just what is shown in the videos. I will hopefully have a chance soon to realize the full potential of this OS. For now I am just one of millions who want to try out the new product. And people check this site out from Microsoft for the latest information on Windows Vista http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/ . It is well designed in my opinion.

Windows Vista

I just started to get into looking at different site on Windows Vista. I am currently amazed from what I have seen the beauty of it. I see that Microsoft is making dramatic changes to its way of thinking. I have used every version of Windows from MS-DOS all the way up to Windows Xp Professional SP2. The one that should really excite me is the Windows Vista. I mean to think about the complexity of that awsome Aero look that they created. I just can not wait to have the ability to try it out. I have given Microsoft Office 12 a try and I actually like it. It really makes me feel like I at least have one part of a nice software that should work really nicely when it is in its final stages with Windows Vista. I personally want to congratulate Microsoft for there amazing talent. I also beleive that this is going to be there best version ever since Windows 98. Time will tell on the popularity of Windows VISTA. Way to go Microsoft!!!!!!!!!
